Overview
EduKick and PEAC School for Elite Athletes are very proud to have combined our strengths in football-soccer and education to offer the inaugural "EduKick Canada PEAC Soccer Boarding School" the ultimate football-soccer Middle and High School academy program for student-athletes interested in applying to a US or Canadian University (and it's associated soccer program) or pursuing a possible porfessional soccer career. The course is based in Toronto, Canada (home of Toronto FC of the MLS).

Training and studying abroad in an EduKick international soccer boarding school equips young student-players for life’s challenges in a way no other experience can. Not only will they be prepared for a competitive international soccer environment, they will learn a deep appreciation for a new language and culture as well with continuing their Secondary education in a "School of Excellence."

By participating in our EduKick Canada PEAC Soccer Boarding School Acdemic Year Course student-athletes will be better prepared for the decisions they are considering when it comes to choosing a North American College or University that best fits their personal academic needs and allows them to continue playing soccer at an increasingly higher level.

EduKick Canada - PEAC ACADEMICS
PEAC‘s academic program is based on the current Ontario Ministry of Education Guidelines. Students attending PEAC receive the Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma upon completion of grade 12. Students attending PEAC have greater flexibility in how they complete their work but must still complete all the course material in accordance with the Ministry of Education. Students will also complete the Ontario Grade 10 Literacy Test (EQAO).

The class sizes at PEAC are kept small, with no more than 15 students per class. As a result, teachers are able to provide students with the instruction and feedback needed to ensure academic success. The school day is structured so that tutoring time is built into the daily schedule. Students also have access to online learning and are able to negotiate deadlines based on their athletic schedule. By providing flexibility in the way courses are delivered, students are able to keep up with their coursework, even while competing off-site.

PEAC students who may want to attend college or university in the United States will need to write the Preliminary Scholastic Achievement Test (PSAT) in Grade 11 and the Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT) in Grade 12. PEAC staff will ensure that these students are guided through the preparation needed in order to complete these tests.

University Counselling:
PEAC provides a unique university counselling program geared toward serving our student-athletes pursue their goals of attending a College or University as a soccer player. Students who attend have specific needs as many of them plan on pursuing sport in post-secondary schools as scholarship recipients. Therefore, the PEAC guidance team provides students with feedback about the academic and athletic programs offered in a variety of universities across North America and the U.K.

EduKick Canada - PEAC SOCCER (Football)
PEAC offers a morning fitness/strength/condition/yoga program as well as "school clubs" from 8:15am to 9:15am every morning (year book, graduation committee, student council, athletics, etc.)

Sport Psychology is now being offered as part of the core PEAC athletic program. PEAC has teamed up with some of the best sport psychology professionals to deliver a comprehensive sport psychology curriculum for all of our student-athletes. There are also sessions being offered to parents in the evenings on how to best support their children (student-footballers).

EduKick Canada - PEAC‘s Soccer (Football) Program offers daily soccer training sessions and daily conditioning and strength training geared specifically to our student-athlete's age. We offer soccer-specific technical training our student-players that attend from Canada, USA and around the world (International Students). We provide male and female student-players with EduKick-PEAC Professional Technical Coaching by accredited and licensed staff, strength and conditioning sessions and progressive technical skill development for the duration of the academic year (9 months).

In order to ensure that all student soccer (football) players are working at their optimal levels, students will be tested on their personal level of physical fitness. This system provides students with a personalized training package based on an analysis of their fitness levels and a quantitative analysis of the physiological and/or bio-mechanical abilities of the students and their progress.

International Students:
PEAC provides ESL (English as a Second Language) courses and a unique university counselling program geared toward international student-athletes. International and domestic students who attend have specific needs as many of them plan on pursuing football-soccer (sport) in a post-secondary school as scholarship recipients. Therefore, our PEAC guidance team provides students with feedback about the academic and athletic programs offered in a variety of universities across North America and the U.K.

Universities will require international students to demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction (either English or French). The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is commonly accepted, but universities often have their own tests for students or may accept other English Tests, such as the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)or Canadian Academic English Language(CAEL) Assessment.

The process for academic students who must select their own courses can feel quite complicated. There are required courses as well as electives you may choose. You are part of the process and you have many things to think about before choosing your courses.
* What degree are you wanting to obtain?
* Do you have a longer term goal - possibly a professional program such as Education or Medicine after completing your degree?
* What will your course load be - Full time or Part time?
* Will you be working while you are attending school? If so, how many hours per week?
* Do you have other family responsibilities which prevent you from focusing on your education?
* Do you play sports (soccer)? How to promote yourself as a player
* Will you be on a Student Loan? Are you being funded?

TECHNICAL FOOTBALL CONSULTANT:
Pictured here is the EduKick Canada - PEAC Technical Soccer Consultant, Mr. Phil Ionadi. Mr. Ionadi is a former professional soccer player(Montreal Impact, Brampton Hitmen, Toronto Thunder Hawks) and is currently the Oakville Soccer Club Academy Youth Director and U18 Coach & also acts as Director of Operations and GM for the Brampton Lions FC of the Canadian Soccer League. He is responsible for overseeing and advising on all aspects related to our player's technical soccer development while enrolled in the course.

The EduKick Canada - PEAC Year Long Soccer Boarding School is open to all players between 13 and 18 years of age with a competitive soccer ability level. EduKick Canada - PEAC technical soccer staff will train participating players daily for the duration of the nine month academic year. At the conclusion of the program, EduKick Canada - PEAC Directors will provide all participating players, in additional to all school reports, a Certificate of Completion and a final Technical Football/Soccer Evaluation Report.

Cultural Activities:
Two (2) afternoon activities (per month) include trips to the famous Niagara Falls, Toronto Centre for shopping in its many unique districts, and a variety of cultural and social activities including visiting Toronto FC Football/Soccer Stadium.
